General characteristics
A modern hotel in the luxury class, situated in the very centre of St. Petersburg, on Nevsky Prospect, close to the of the city’s most beautiful architectural assemblies.
The hotel building itself, constructed in 1730, was one of the first to be built in this part of St. Petersburg and has witnessed many historical events.
After complete refurbishment of its interior in the summer of 2001, the ‘Radisson SAS Royal’ once more threw open its doors to guests. Visitors can now appreciate the results of all the work and improvements to the hotel, the execution of which cost a sum in excess of $30 million.
The guest rooms of the ‘Radisson SAS Royal’ are completely in the classical style, and include the facilities of air conditioning, safes, mini-bars, satellite television, audio and video sets and direct telephone dialing.
The porter service of the ‘Radisson SAS Royal’ has a command, not only of Russian, but also of English, French, Spanish, Italian, German and Japanese languages.

Standard Guest Rooms
In total – 109. The size of the one-room suites varies from ~18-22sq.m.
Each guest room offers: twin single or one double bed, television (with satellite and cable stations), fridge, radio, telephone, mini-bar, safe,
individual air-conditioning, writing desk, internet port, soft furniture and even a traditional kettle with tea and coffee sets. In the bathroom,
there is a bath, shower and hair-dryer.
Dressing gowns and slippers are provided.
Business Class Guest Room
In total – 38. The size of the rooms varies from 25-30sq.m.
Each room offers: a large double bed, or standard twin single beds, television (with satellite and cable stations), fridge, radio, telephone, mini-bar, safe, individual air-conditioning, writing desk, internet port and soft furniture.
The bathroom has a bath, shower and hair-dryer. Dressing gowns and slippers are provided.
Semi-Luxury Guest Room
In total – 12. The size of the rooms varies from ~26-30sq.m.
Each room offers: a large double bed, television (with satellite and cable stations), fridge, radio, telephone, mini-bar, safe, individual air-conditioning, writing desk, internet port and soft furniture.
The bathroom has a bath, shower and hair-drier. Dressing gowns and slippers are provided.
For an additional charge, a further bed can be provided.
Luxury Guest Room
In total – 5. The size of the rooms is from ~25-70sq.m.
Each room offers: large double bed, two televisions (with satellite and cable stations), fridge, radio, telephone, mini-bar, safe, individual air-conditioning, writing desk, internet port and soft furniture.
The bathroom has bath, shower, bidet, hair-drier and additional toilet. Dressing gowns and slippers are provided. According to tradition, guests to the luxury class room receive a personal letter of welcome from the hotel’s General Manager.
Luxury rooms may vary from one another in size and in appearance. By special request, guests may book a corner room – a Corner Suite, of which there are two in the hotel, offering special cosiness and individual interior.
For an additional charge, a further bed can be provided.
The ‘Moscow’ Luxury Suite
There is only one. The size of the suite is ~70sq.m.
This is a two-roomed suite with mansard windows, and offers:

The ‘Royal’ Luxury Suite
There is only one. The size of the suite is ~75sq.m.
This is a three-roomed suite, offering: large double bed, two televisions (with satellite and cable television), fridge, radio, telephone, mini-bar, safe, individual air-conditioning, writing desk, internet port and soft furniture.
The bathroom has bath, shower, bidet, hair-drier and an additional toilet. Dressing gowns and slippers are provided.
For an additional charge, a further bed can be provided.
The Restaurant Complex of the ‘Radisson SAS Royal’ Hotel
The ‘Barbazan’ Restaurant
Seating 60. Offers Russian National, European and International Cuisine.
Opening hours: from 8.00 until 23.00.
The ‘Cannelle’ Restaurant
Bar-restaurant seating 30. Guests are offered a wide choice of alcoholic cocktails and snacks.
Opening hours: from 8.00 until 2.00.
The Business Complex of the ‘Radisson SAS Royal’ Hotel
The ‘Radisson SAS Royal’ Hotel Business Centre provides on a 24-hour basis a wide spectre of business
services for guests, including professional secretarial and translation services, as well as a 24-hour
electronic mail and fax service.
The ‘Radisson SAS Royal’ Hotel Fitness Centre.
The ‘Radisson SAS Royal’ Hotel Fitness Centre is situated on the 4th. Floor,
and offers a modern training gymnasium.
Services for guests include: cardiological training, cycle-training and weight-training.
There is also a small bar counter, where guests may prepare tea or coffee for themselves.
