General characteristics
The ‘Grand Hotel Europa’ is one of the most respectable hotels in St.
Petersburg, and was built by a great Russian architect in 1830. It forms an

The ‘Europa’ Restaurant
Classical selection of dishes from European and Russian cuisine.
Guests can make themselves comfortable in the main hall, or in the separate loggia, situated at a higher level.
There is live (Jazz) music every day, from 19.00 until 23.00.
Sunday ‘brunch’ (Swedish table) is available from 12.00-16.00.
The ‘Caviar Bar’ Restaurant
Visitors are invited to try Russian national cuisine, including delicacies
such as fish kylebyaka, and it goes almost without saying, caviar of the
highest quality. The interior is ostentatious, with mirrors and fountains,
and wonderful service. Ther is live music from 17.30 until 23.00.
The Bar-buffet.
There is a wide range of the hotel’s own cuisine on offer.
The ‘Sadko’ restaurant and bar
International cuisine. Lively atmosphere, virtuosi barmen, large-screen television, billiards.
From Wednesday to Saturday, from 20.00 – 23.30, there is live music. From
Monday to Friday< Business lunch is served for 12 euros.

The ‘Chopsticks’ Restaurant
One of the best Chinese restaurants in St. Petersburg. It is the best place
in town to celebrate the Chinese New Year, or to try Pekin Duck. The
interior of the restaurant is adorned with statues and vases in the Ming
Dynasty style. There is live music on Fridays and Saturdays from 20.00–23.00.
The ‘Rossi’ Restaurant
Offers a large choice of Mediterranean and Italian cuisine. The restaurant
is adorned with an enormous aquarium, with live lobsters and fish. There is
live piano music from 20.00- 23.00, and recorded music the remainder of the time.
Opening hours are from 12.00-23.00.
The ‘Mezzanine’ cafe
Offers European cuisine and a wide selection of teas and coffees. There is a
light, airy interior, with live harp music from 14.00-18.30.
The Lobby Bar
It has a modern interior, and a pianist plays light jazz music. The best
place to drink coffee with a snack and peruse your business papers.
Open from 11.00- 01.00.
The ‘Grand Hotel Europa’ business complex.
The Grand Hotel Europa offers the best venue in the city for business
meetings, negotiations and conferences. A modern business centre offers
internet connection, e-mail, photocopying, fax and secretarial services.
There is a translation service in 5 languages and there are pens, notebooks,
an LCD projector and screen. You can rent a computer and electronic
Notebooks. Therv are sufficient halls in the hotel and rooms for negotiations.
The ‘Krusha’ Ballroom is an elegant hall of 278sq.m., situated on one of the upper floors.
The Billiards Room is suitable for business meetings or private lunches.
The comfortable Conference Room is equally suitable for receptions or fourchettes.
The ‘Dostoevsky” Room for negotiations, is beside the Conference Hall and is 42sq.m in size.
Besides, the ‘Europa’ Restaurant, the ‘Caviar’ Bar, the ‘Mezzanine’ Cafe and

The size of the suite is ~67sq.m. (hall, sitting room, office and bedroom). There is a double bed.
These are the two most splendid rooms in the hotel. Many political
leaders and famous people have stayed here at various times. The suites are
named in honour of two architects who created the hotel interior in the
19th. And 20th. Centuries. The Rossi imperial Suite has a grand piano.
