First of all I would like to tell about my main hobby. That’s reading, and mainly I like to read literature about one of the most beautiful cities in the world – Saint-Petersburg. That’s really breathtaking, as in different books, sometimes we find different viewpoints touching upon the subject of authorship of this or that monument, or building of Saint-Petersburg. Thus we are still trying to find out who was the architect of the grille of Summer Garden.
What I like most of all is to show different monuments, houses and other pieces of culture of Saint-Petersburg, to the guests of our city. Lots of people want to be familiar with great culture of Saint-Petersburg. And I would be happy to show it in all its colours. Thanks to being a capital of Russia for over 2 centuries, we find that the development of the architecture of XVIII – XIX centuries was large. Many architects were invited here from abroad, among which we can see such ones as: Rossi, Quarenghi, Rastrelli and many other architects.
I think that it’s impossible not to fall in love with Saint-Petersburg, and I consider that every person who sees Saint-Petersburg will always keep in his heart memories he got here.
